“Let the peace of Christ keep you in tune with each other, in step with each other.  None of this going off and doing your own thing. And cultivate thankfulness. Let the Word of Christ—the Message—have the run of the house. Give it plenty of room in your lives. Instruct and direct one another using good common sense. And sing, sing your hearts out to God! Let every detail in your lives—words, actions, whatever—be done in the name of the Master, Jesus, thanking God the Father every step of the way.”
So, just in case you wonder how and what and when to lead a life that is “Christ-like”, Paul is spelling it out for you. Â Yet again. Â To paraphrase the verse above, Paul is saying: Â be mindful of your brother, your neighbor; don’t be self-absorbed; be grateful always, and encouraging always; let the Word of God be real to you, within you, in your words and actions; and continuously praise God for all that you have and all that you are. Â Here’s hoping you are doing just that, gentle reader!
