Sharing a snippet from an article in the latest issue of TIME Magazine (July 27, 2026). Isn’t the concept of “moral beauty” so beautiful? More beautiful than beauty found in nature, I think. This is the kind of thinking that ought to be introduced into schools for young minds and hearts to consider and practice, even as they get older. Would the world not be a better place?
To be a witness to such an act of “moral beauty,” i.e., an act of kindness or courage sometimes leaves one beyond awestruck; it renders you speechless and breaks you down emotionally. Processing it goes beyond the intellectual, and the beauty of the person or the act is so remarkable that the only response- which is involuntary- is to either hold back tears or to let them run down your face.
