The Life-Light was the real thing: Every person entering Life he brings into Light. He was in the world, the world was there through him, and yet the world didn’t even notice. Be it by divine will, design, happenstance, or whatever the reason, it is truly unfortunate that Christ came to redeem a certain people, but he was rejected by them. Unfortunate for them, but life-giving to the rest. Because so marvelous a plan to offer this gift of salvation to every single person on the face of this earth is nothing short of incredible. This is no game, this is no joke. This is the truth, but if you are a skeptic, why don’t you wager in its favor — because you have nothing to lose and everything to gain!
