It was time to make another batch of that golden goodness, aka, ghee or clarified butter. So, I did just that!
Also, I’ve come to the conclusion that I must refrain from assuming certain things: what I consider to be an easy exercise might not necessarily be true for all. Making ghee is a prime example, I have been told. Cooking down unsalted butter to just the right consistency might seem like an easy task for me, but I suppose that is only because I have had many years of practice. For the uninitiated, it is most certainly an exercise in patience and perseverance! FYI, this is one product that is as good as gold in my kitchen– never store-bought, always home-made, by the way!
