A Tri-Colored Bracelet: With Love From India Via The Middle East

Recently, a friend of mine from India traveled to Dubai, the oasis in the desert of the Middle East and sent me a souvenir from there.  A tri-colored metal bracelet of several delicate strands, it means many things to me:  it is, of course, a lovely piece of jewelry; it is also a lovely token of her friendship; and it is most certainly a piece of art which is why it finds a place on this section of my blog today!

Thank you, KJ, as you can see, it makes my wrist look quite lovely!

A Mere 101 Things: A List For Father's Day!

That was what my firstborn had to tell her father on this most recent Father’s Day.  She drew up a list of 101 things that she told her father she is thankful for!  Needless to say, her father was a puddle before he could get to the end of this list!

And although the list is not reproduced here, these images will tell you just how special a love-offering this was!  I am told that this is sure to hang in a very prominent place in our bedroom in order to remind this lucky father that his most important job ever is this exactly:  to continue with the 101 things and to add to them, if possible!

Happy Father’s Day, SSI!  You’re the best!
