Actually, the subscription is also unsolicited! I have to idea who my benefactor is.
At one point a few years ago I was receiving a free book once a month from an anonymous benefactor. No note, just a PO box on the return address. After about six months one of my friends, who edited a faith-based newsletter, asked me why I wasn’t sending him reviews of all the books he had been sending me. !?!?
