They said it was good.

November 16, Ephesians 3: 20-21

“God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us. Glory to God in the church! Glory to God in the Messiah, in Jesus! Glory down all the generations! Glory through all millennia! Oh, yes!”

Ephesians 3: 20-21 MSG – A verse of the day from the Bible presented in Eugene Peterson’s contemporary version called The Message. Accompanied by a personal reflection below.

Pause for a moment to consider the significance of this claim — not only can God do anything, but he can do “immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us” as per another translation.  If we can ask and imagine grand things for ourselves and our loved ones, imagine how much more grand and awesome God’s plans for us must be!
