Another simple yet effective menu for New Year’s Day included: Fried Fish, Rasam, Rice, Green Peas-Red Beets-Blue Cheese-Asian Slaw Salad, Blackeyed Peas Subzi, Garlic Bread, and Sparkling Grape Juice. Dessert was Sooji ka Halwa. This menu was rivaled only by the company around the table! A more detailed view will be posted in the Food is What? section shortly. The last day of 2011, and exactly 101 more days to arriving at the 365-day mark, i.e., one year of photo-blogging with my iPhone! This has been one of the most gratifying projects of 2011, for sure! Happy New Years’ everyone! 2012, I’m all over you!
