My brisk afternoon walk on campus took me today to the Purdy/Kresge Library. The slideshow is above. In case it doesn’t behave, the link is here.
I browsed around for a bit, and found an interesting wall-cabinet display on the third floor. It was about the history of the city of Detroit. Read for yourself all the fascinating trivia about the great city of Detroit. From fur-trading post to underground-railroad-point to automobile-capital-of-the-world! My trusty phone-camera captured these photos, of course.
And while I was up there, I looked out the window and took these other shots of the campus. See for yourself how blindingly beautiful both the blue sky and the snow is. The temperature outside? 10 degrees Fahrenheit, but it felt like -8F because of the wind-chill factor.
Bone-chillingly cold temps, but still beautiful!
And why is this worthy of a post, you ask? Well, because this blog is titled The Show Must Go On, and this is yet another ordinary, yet extraordinary affirmation of how we must carry on with the business of life and living, the changing seasons notwithstanding!
