Lovely rendition from assorted musicians around the globe. Miss Gleep, please tell me if you know of any of those talented musicians from Chennai!

Detroit International Jazz Festival rated one of the top four jazz festivals
How very cool a statistic is THAT?! I’ll have to mark my calendar for this summer! (I’ve been to the Detroit Jazz Fest only once before, so it’s time I did it again!
Surreal Sunrise In Swiss Villages
This is altogether surreal indeed. I guess I must not have been paying attention when I was visiting such small villages on my whirlwind trip through Europe some summers ago, which included beautiful destinations such as this one in Switzerland.
Grownups, 2010
Disappointing, despite a great line-up of actors/comedians.
Uninspired script and very forgettable all in all.
Salt, 2010
She’s Bourne, Bond and Macgyver all rolled into one, and even without any of the action itself, if only looks could burn, well, you’d be a cinder.
Salt’s Jolie plays the role with such confidence and intensity that you wonder why they didn’t make this sooner. There’s enough thrills, mystery, suspense and unexpected twists to the end to make the story stick. For being as independent and fierce as she is, Salt’s every action from beginning to end is either determined or motivated by her love for her loving and gentle husband.
But in the final analysis, it’s a love-story, people! That is, if you can see beyond all that dare-devil action. And yes, of course, I predict she’ll be back!
Inception, 2010
Visually stimulating, and well-acted, but a tedious story-line, nonetheless. With levels and layers to which attention must be paid at all times—keeping in mind strict rules of a game that isn’t a real-game anyway—there is a sense of futility to it all.
Take away the crashes, explosions, gunfire, falling down shafts, falling from a building, running, etc., and there isn’t much else to wonder about—other than the nature of Cobb’s relationship with his wife, who in essence is the redeeming character in all of this chaos.
Overrated, just like Dark Knight.
A brilliant movie is not just about sound and effect—a brilliant movie is one that offers a brilliant story
Cyrus, 2010
Were the title of this movie "The Weaning of Cyrus", is would be a dead-giveaway to its fundamental theme, viz. the mother-and-son dynamic, and the funny-creepy relationship between the two that results in some serious deceit, introspection and dialogue to eventually bring about the aforementioned weaning of son from mother– then allowing her to pursue her own life interests which include predominantly the romantic relationship with John.
(Whew! Now, there's a one-sentence review if you ever saw one!)
The A-Team, 2010
The point of this movie isn’t the plot. It is action and more action which involves blowing things up as frequently as possible. Unfortunately, all that action does not convert to thrills.
Hannibal’s one line that is a variation of the original “I love it when a plan comes together” is somewhat memorable.
Otherwise, unremarkable, all things considered. And the original Mr. T was never quite as wimpy as the one in the movie.
