Can You Build a Better Brain?

Media_httpwwwnewsweek_efabv

Excellent Newsweek article on how it can possibly be done. And forget that small piece of scientific data that states the benefits of nicotine. Dementia and a host of other illness– the cancers of the throat and lungs being foremost– is not quite worth any efforts at building a better brain!

But the three things that WILL work as per this article– and ones that I resoundingly support– are these:

1. Physical Exercise

2. Meditation

3. Videogames (ha!)

So, here’s to a better brain in 2011. Remember folks: get the dopamine levels UP and the cortisol levels down!

Oh, and crossword puzzles might not really help, but they’ll make you FEEL smarter, so keep doing those for sure!
