This famous Julius Caesar quote I have had committed to memory thanks to my 10th grade English teacher, Mrs. Gaur.  I felt like writing it down today to reproduce it here in recognition of great teachers like Mrs. Gaur who instilled a love of literature to their students.  As for my penmanship, I owe that to both my grandmother and my mother.

Love it or loathe it:  there’s nothing quite more American than the sight of a Coca Cola!  This picture was taken a couple weeks ago by yours truly early one cloudy morning trailing behind this truck.

A burst of spring indoors:  my birthday present crocus from my parents in 2005 blooms once a year, sometimes twice, if I’m lucky.  This happens to be a lucky year, I guess.  This crocus plant sits on my dining table, btw.
