You are red and ripe / Tomato from my garden / Last of the season
Bracing for winter,
Bidding adieu to summer,
I embrace the fall.

Yellow cucumber / Left under blue skies, hot sun / Mother of all seeds.
Oranges galore? / / Make some of that bitter-sweet / Glor’ious marmalade!
