Does anyone have information regarding a battle fought along the Niagara escarpment on or about 1759 – aka, french-Indian, British war – perhaps it was regarded as a skirmish. In particular, I’m interested in the geographical location of cannon battlements that were placed on top of the escarpment as it relates to modern geography? Can anyone perhaps point me in the right direction to find any information on this subject. Thank You.
I think an online search might be your best bet for starters. I’m afraid I am not a historian of Canadian history. Good luck to you!
