When going through a rough patch, the best way to navigate your way through it is to be with someone going through an even rougher patch. Because in doing so, your troubles will pale in comparison. That is just how it works. May it be that we remember this truth and strive to practice it. Also, lest we forget where our strength and comfort really comes from, Paul, the author of this letter to the early Christians, reminds that we get a full measure of healing comfort from being a follower of Christ.
